Mary Pyche--Floating Frames

I make my own frames.

I have learned to operate various power tools and various methods of joinery. I like the look of the floating frames with some paintings and find that woodworking has also been an unexpected pleasure. The frames I am currently doing are popular painted black with several coats of lacquer and light colored maple with several coats of lacquer. I have a miller mill the molding according to my design. Some paintings call for other types of frames and I have a good supply of those as well which have been ordered from frame companies.
